how to sell pictures

Are you allowed to insert flyers for your business in an item you sell on ebay?

Can I say "Check out our other ebay auctions" and then show pictures of the items? Can I say "Call out store direct to get these item"? Ebay can't stop me from doing that, can they?

  1. No they can't its free commerce, and just a flyer. It is still the persons choice to read it. Good Luck
  2. Its perfectly OK according to Ebay rules. As a frequent Ebay shopper let me offer a tip: Sellers that bombard me with huge banners offering this, that and the other thing, and flood me with emails and act unprofessionally have ZERO chances of becoming my favorite sellers and getting repeat business. They are annoying. People that are nice, classy, and professional in asking for repeat business with a some examples of other things they have on sale, usually get repeat business as long as the service is right. Good luck
  3. I've gotten reams of promotional crap in things I've purchased on Ebay. I'd say load 'em up.
  4. No, but I personally think it's way too low-brow. Best to keep it short and simple, get some mailing labels and get the web address of your company put on them and adhere them to the box that their product is in. This will let them know who it's from, without looking unprofessional. But remember people are bombarded with advertising and flyers, they don't need more. Best to keep it short and simple.
  5. There is absolutely nothing wrong with inserting a flyer into your shipments, consider having a "thanks for the business" message on your invoice. We also have custom tape so that the buyer associates our logo with receiving a package. Other ideas include sending coupons for free shipping on their next purchase or even something they can use while shopping like a mouse pad.
