Making money with your photos - how safe is this site?

I'm a stay at home mom and looking for a fun & safe easy way to make money. I came across this website site called: Shutterstock. You make money with your photos. Does it sound safe? Will I get taken advantage of? I am not sure what photos I would submit. I've always enjoyed taking photos of my kids, things around the house and outside. Stuff like that. I did find other sites like this, but they charge a monthly free and stuff like that. This one has a free sign up. 1. I don't know about that one, but I've bought and sold pictures on Alamy, and they are very reputable. http://www.alamy.com
