How can I take digital pictures at night without them getting blurry? My digital camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4800. I've been trying to take pictures at a racetrack at night. My daytime pictures come out fine, but whenever I take pictures at night, the images get all blurred looking. At night they light the track (like a stadium). I could understand a picture of a moving car being blurry - but even the pictures I take of people standing still look weird - like the person's blurry twin is standing right next to them. The manual is confusing - I don 't understand much of the terminology in it.

When I whip out my camera to take pictures, I feel slightly embarassed and awkward? I love taking pictures of my dogs, I mostly do it in my backyard which of course most of the pictures are looking the same and are getting dull, rarley I will actually go down to the nearby park hoping nobody is round so I can take my pictures. I just feel stupid in a way when other people are around when I take out my camera and start taking pictures of my dogs. How would I overcome this? I take pretty sweet pictures also so it's kind of a waste.

How do you take high quality pictures? I have a 7.1 mega pixel Olympus camera SP-550UZ. It's not one of those cheap rectangle ones, it has like 18x optical zoom and a bunch of great features. However whenever i take a picture it seems like the quality is lacking, i learned that natural light is better than bulb light so taking pictures is best during the day, and my quality settings within the camera are set at the highest. What am i doing wrong that is not producing the quality i want?

How to reduce windows reflex in pictures? I took a train tour in Switzerland, and the views were simply impressive. The train is a "panorama" train, that is, it has huge windows to enable good views of the surroundings. However, the windows reflect some light form the inside of the train (kind of a mirror effect), and this ruins most of the pictures. pictures..? When my daughter was a month old, we got her pictures taken at Picture Perfect and they were awesome! We bought a package of $150 dollars and then bought the negatives for $25 and had copies made at a much cheaper place. I just got my haircut about a week ago, and I went for a short-layered look and it looks cute, its about shoulder length but abit longer, but I miss my longer hair! I don't know, how to explain this but I want to take pictures with my film camera, to make them look like they were taken in the 70s or 80s. The pictures then look "retro" for lack of a better word. They just don't look like they do from a camera from today. I hope you know what I mean

How long did it take you to get over the emotional damage of a miscarriage? I've posted a few times since my miscarriage on March 29th. I was 16 weeks along (I thought I was only 15 weeks). I suffered full labor and delivery and I'm just heart broken. I don't want to get out of bed. My nights are easier than days. I've been talking to other women who just recently suffered miscarriages and are also in the same boat as me emotionally. I got to hold my baby for a few momments and we were given a lovely memory box with pictures of him, hand and foot prints, along with some touching poems. I gathered all of my ultrasound pictures as well as my positive pregnancy tests (yes, I saved them). I just look at the collection of memories and weep. I read the bible a lot and it has helped. My husband has been fabulous through this. And I have two beautiful children who help me smile and laugh. I want to get pregnant again so badly but we have to see what our specialist says is wrong with my uterus before we further our family planning. Ugggg... OK I had to get it out.

How many pictures, on an average, can you take and store using a Sony 128 mb memory stick card?? We have a Sony Cybershot with no memory card at present. I holds about 15-20 pictures. We are attending a wedding and christening on the same weekend, and think we will need more memory. I don't want to go crazy with a $100 memory stick. Normally, working without a memory stick works out fine for us. Is a 128 mb too small? How many pictures do you think we will be able to take? 50? 100? More or less?? Thanks! How do I get my pictures to be less YELLOW? I am shooting with a Canon rebel. I do not know much about the camera. I usually just shoot and pictures turn out fine. However, tonight I'm trying to do some product pictures with this makeshift whiteboard studio I set up. I have one floodlight and two "daylight" bulbs set up to shine on the objects nd it looks really bright with the naked eye, but the pictures are turning out very yellow. With the flash ON and the lights OFF it looks great, except that it gets darker at the edges of the photo. Some of the objects i need to photograph are kind of large so that might be an issue. Can you take a look and offer any advice? Please keep in mind I have never really adjusted the settings on this camera so I would need very thorough instructions if I have to change something. How do I take pictures that add depth (or length) to an image? I love to watch the real estate market and look at houses on line. I noticed that some have pictures that make a room look longer or wider. You can tell that it's not the way the room looks, but it allows the viewer to see more of the room in the image. How does the photographer accomplish this illusion? Is it with a lense or just the camera type?

How long did it take to get your pictures? We're still waiting on our pictures from our wedding to come in. How long was it before yours came in? How long did it take the albums to be put together once the pictures were in & did you get to select pictures, for example, for parent or family albums? Just curious how long it took others. I'm still waiting on mine from March 17th. :) I'm not concerned with my wait, I know one album (a fine art album with pictures put together) will take some time. Plus, the lady was fabulous so I know she'll continue to do well. I'm just curious about how long average is.
