How can I take digital pictures at night without them getting blurry? My digital camera is a Nikon Coolpix 4800. I've been trying to take pictures at a racetrack at night. My daytime pictures come out fine, but whenever I take pictures at night, the images get all blurred looking. At night they light the track (like a stadium). I could understand a picture of a moving car being blurry - but even the pictures I take of people standing still look weird - like the person's blurry twin is standing right next to them. The manual is confusing - I don 't understand much of the terminology in it.

Why do my digital pictures sometimes get a blue band? I have a HP digital camera. About every 10 or so pix comes out with about 50% of the lower area covered with a blue see-through band. Digital Picture Frame help- some pictures load some will not? I recently purchased 2 different digital picture frames to give as a gift. I am testing them both to see which one to keep. However I am having a problem loading pictures. I have two sets of pictures I am trying to load- the first set are pictures taken with a Canon Powershot SD110- these pictures load fine both from the computer as well as through the SD card. The second set of pictures are picture which have been scanned with my scanner.- These pictures are in jpeg format and are within the sames size range (KB-MB) When right clicking the pictures and viewing properties everything is identical between the scanned pictures and those taken directly from the camera. Lost digital pictures by changing settings on a Canon Powershot S5 IS? I just bought a canon powershot S5IS and am using a 2GB SanDisk Secure Digital SD Memory Card. Twice now, I have lost pictures on the memory card when I go to play with the menu settings. I cannot remember what triggered the problem the first time but the second time, I took around 300+ pictures and then changed the format from low quality to higher quality and then voila... Home movie program that keeps quality of digital pictures? I made a home movie that incorporates digital pictures, music, and titles. I used Windows Movie Maker 2, and was so disappointed with how all of the pictures lost an unacceptable amount of quality (the video, strangely, was fine). downloading digital pictures from computer to a cd? I am trying to download a folder on my desktop containing digital pictures to a cd. The sixe of the folder is less then the size allowed on the cd. when I select all pictures and click on copy to cd, a ballon pops up and says to insert a cd to drive e. I took some pictures with my digital camera and when I put them on my computer the images were messed up.? I used a memory card reader to transfer some digital pictures to my computer and when I did I found that the images were very distorted. The colors were off and the images were pretty much indistinguishable...the distortion pattern seemed to be in bans, and the top of the photos looked more accurate than the bottoms. The other strange thing is that when I open My Pictures and see the folder that the pictures are stored in, the preview of the thumbnails look distorted. But, when I actually open the folder and see the thumbnails the are normal...not distorted at all. What could have caused this to happen? Is there any way that I can get my pictures back to normal (they are deleted from the memory card)? I tried to upload a sample of the distorted pictures to Yahoo photos, but it failed several times, so that's another issue with the files. I'd appreciate any help...these photos are important to me, which is why I'm bothering to try to fix them.

Computer squashing digital pictures? our computer recently had problems, so we did a system restore after backing up our files...we have a widescreen monitor, and when we changed the resolution from the default (which was much too low) to 1600 x 900, my digital pictures look squashed. I tried setting it to 1400 x 1050, but the compuer wouldn't let me- it said "input not supported." Would this setting make my pictures look like they should? Is there some update, which the computer didn't have in the factory condition to which we restored it, which would allow me to set the resolution to this size? thanks for the help.

Putting digital pictures onto a cd?? If I put digital pictures onto a disc can I then save them to my documents ? How does it work as my memory card says not formatted and I need another way to put my pics onto a forum.

Editing digital pictures, best at printing company or do it yourself? I just bought a new Canon SD630 digital camera. Canon sent a program to use to edit before I send to internet to get printed or stored. Since Shutterfly, Kodak etc edit them before printing, should I just let them do it?Pictures look pretty good as is and Canons program isn't easy.

Using Digital Camera to take pictures of Documents, instead of using scanner/copier? I have a special project I am in charge of for work. The process involves reviewing Medical Records and taking copies of the pages I need. The Records are bound so getting the 5 pages I need from a 50 page document is cumbersome. To date, I have been marking the pages I need and then photocopying them. I have the opportunity to expand this project to many other institutions, but don’t want to spend several thousand dollars for a copier for each place. The desktop scanners I have looked at are too slow and would require use of PC or Laptop onsite. I was thinking maybe taking digital pictures of the documents was the answer. I can get big memory cards (because we usually need copies of 500 - 2000 documents at a sitting), take the camera and any necessary tri-pod with me. Does anyone have any ideas about this process or recommendations for type of camera or equipment that would help? Cant use a sheet feeder because pages are bound. Pages can not leave the work site so Kinkos wont work. I would be open to using some type of flatbed scanner if it could scan directly to a memory stick or hard drive (no Computer or Laptop required).

What can you do about white circles in digital pictures? I got a really small digital camera and when I take pictures inside there is often a white circle in the picture. I just got back from a trip to my grandfathers house and there are little white circles in a lot of pictures, and larger ones in others. My uncle and cousin sent me their pictures and they have it in a few, but nowhere near as many as in my pictures. If they appear in the wall its pretty easy to get rid of them, but there is one halfway across my grandfathers face and into the door that's giving me a lot of trouble. If I try the paintbrush or clone tool it always looks like it was pasted on.
